What it does
Receipts from a photo
Send Claude a photo of a receipt and it goes into YNAB with the right card, payee and category, split across categories when the items call for it. Clear-cut purchases go in on their own, unapproved; anything Claude isn't sure of is shown to you first.
Emailed receipts
Forward an order confirmation to your own Wrapt address and it is entered for you, unapproved, ready for your next review.
The morning review
Each morning, go through what your bank imported one step at a time: approve what's right, match imports to purchases you already entered, and split orders that arrive in several shipments.
Covering overspending
When a category goes over, Wrapt suggests where the money can come from, starting with the categories you usually pick, and moves it once you say yes.
Reimbursements
Mark a purchase someone will pay back, and Wrapt matches the money when it arrives, including purchases several people pay back in parts.
The weekly tidy up
Once a week, clear out entries the bank never matched, close open orders, reconcile accounts against your bank, and see what you're still owed.
How to start
- Add the Wrapt connector in Claude and sign in with your YNAB account.
- Install the Wrapt Skill, which tells Claude how to use it.
- Send Claude a receipt, or ask it to review your plan.
Getting started has every step; the Skill is on the install page.
